Bring out the hacker in you!

Cicada 3301: Reinvented is an initiative by MSTC and IEEE MTT-S DAIICT to provide students from colleges across India, with a platform to prove their development skills by solving some of the prevelent problems of recent times. The 36 hour hackathon would offer the participants problem statements based on different themes. It will be an open invitation for creative minds to indulge in critical thinking, problem solving and most importantly, to showcase their capabilities in the domain of development. The projects made and the ideas ignited would be the participants’ contribution to open source and the global developer community. By the end of the hackathon, the participating teams are to develop any sort of tech-based solutions to the chosen problem statement.

It would surely be an enriching experience, with a great opportunity to learn. Cicada 3301: Reinvented, with the attractive prizes and goodies it has to offer, is designed to provide the thrust of encouragement for young minds to think, develop and come up with something real!

A hackathon is an intense event that brings together designers and developers along with industry experts to identify problems and create software solutions, usually within 24-48 hours.

You must be a school/college/university student. That's it!

Go ahead and register, it’s absolutely free.

Doesn't matter, you are still eligible to apply.

No, you should start working only after the hackathon begins. Pre-written codes may become the reason of your disqualification.

Unfinished or unimpressive (as you think) projects should be presented anyway! Presenting your hack gives you a chance to be proud of what you’ve done, and a constructive perspective of where you should be headed next.

We are offering prizes and goodies worth Rs. 57 lakhs! that includes per-participant goodies worth Rs. 28,000 and a great networking opportunity!

A team should consist of 3-5 members.

Yes! The talks/workshops would be open to everyone. We will keep you folks updated with the schedule and the links to the talks.
